Dr. Osei Kwame Despite is the Group Chairman of the Despite Group of Companies which has subsidiaries including; Radio and Television stations, A Financial Institution (Best Point Savings and Loans), Real Estate Company, Atona Foods (Dealers in This Way and Neat Foods), Farms and many other more businesses.

Rankings from some recognized bodies list him as one of the richest men in Ghana with a net worth of  hundreds of millions dollars. He is also widely known for his philanthropic works in the country; most notable being the construction of buildings for the 37 military hospital and the Police Services and sharing of goodies to widows during Mother’s Day and many other more.
