Lionel Messi's goal for Barcelona against Atletico Madrid on Saturday means that he and Cristiano Ronaldo have now scored a combined 1,000 times for club and country.
Messi's strike gives him 433 goals for Barcelona. In total, the Argentina international has 482 goals for club and country.
Ronaldo, who faces Espanyol on Sunday afternoon for Real Madrid, has 518 career goals, including 463 across spells for Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United and Real Madrid, with 55 goals for Portugal.
Messi is two goals from reaching 300 league goals in his career, while Ronaldo has 328.
